George Anthony Jackson, Jr, 78 of Austin passed away on November 3, 2018. He was born December 3, 1939 to George Jackson Sr. George never had the opportunity to know his birth mother because he lived with his father in New York City. George, Sr. met and married Irene Grant who adopted George, Jr.
He attended school in New York. George was a floral designer for over 40 years.
George was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Boone Jackson and his parents George Sr. and Irene.
George leaves to mourn his passing a son, Aaron Boone and wife Michele; daughter, Diane Green Roman; 17 grandchildren and 12 great- grandchildren; cousins, Georgia Overton, Charles Hancock and Cynthia Barett all in New York City. His Texas family, cousins, Jimella, Fannie, Shirley, Sherry, Caren, Barbara Debra Joann, Stevie; close friends, Curtis, Robert, Ira and a host of other family and friends.
