

Georgia Ann Dusek, 76 of Austin died peacefully on Saturday, April 7, surrounded by her family. In her beauty of grace she rejoins the love of her life and husband of 39 years, Eddie Dusek, where they will spend eternity with their Lord and Savior.
Georgia was born August 5, 1935 in Round Rock, Texas to George Robert Edwards and Annie Pearl (McNeese) Edwards. She married Edwin Dusek on August 5, 1968 and they had a happy and loving marriage until his death in 2008. Georgia worked for Dairy Queen for many years where she met many friends whom she loved dearly. Georgia and Eddie lived on a small street in Austin where their neighbors were not just friends they were their family and she loved them all.
To cherish her memory Georgia leaves behind her daughters, Debbie Kirk and husband Gilbert of Briggs, Diane Reid and husband Ron of Georgetown; grandchildren, Garrett and Kammie Kirk of Briggs and Christina Psencik and husband Wayne of Taylor; great-grandchildren, Katlyn, Hailey and Daniel Psencik; stepson, Steve Dusek and wife Vicky of Cedar Creek; step-grandchildren, Kim Chrudimsky, Stacy Batch and husband Eric and J.D. Dusek and wife Meredith; step-great-grandchildren, Shelby, Maggie and Alyssa; sister, Mary Sherman and husband Bobby of Belton and their children; especially her niece Beverly Montgomery.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 pm on Monday, April 9 at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 2620 South Congress Avenue, Austin. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, April 10 at Weed-Corley-Fish Chapel. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be Daniel Dusek, JD Dusek, Jack Acker, Lewis Schmitz, Scott Bernard, Tyler Schmitz. Honorary pallbearers will be all of her friends and neighbors.
