

Geraldine Arnim Wrenn, our beloved mother and grandmother, passed away Friday, December 17, 2004 in Austin, Texas at the age of 85. She was a life long resident of Corpus Christi where she was a member of the Church of the Good Shepherd. She volunteered many years at the Good Shepherd Corner. Jerry had been active in numerous clubs and organizations while living in Corpus including Belletristic Book Club, Esperanza Garden Club, Jr. League of Corpus Christi, Order of de Pineda, and Cotillion Allegre Corpus Christi. She is survived by her daughter, Dana West Carvalho of Austin; two grandsons, Matthew Denton and Ryan Gray Carvalho; her sister, Jacqueline Coleman and husband Dr. Sherman Coleman of Corpus Christi; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas L. Wrenn, her son, Oscar H. West, III, her son-in-law, Dr. Reginald S. Carvalho, Jr., brother, Otto E. Arnim, Jr. and sister, Crystal Vorndam. The family is grateful for the loving care given to Mrs. Wrenn by Hospice Austin and Verna Sanders. A memorial service will be held in Austin at St. Michaels Episcopal Church at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, December 20th. Mrs. Wrenn will be laid to rest in Corpus Christi followed by a memorial service at the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd, Corpus Christi on Tuesday, December 21st at 11:00 a.m. The family request that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to Hospice Austin, 4107 Spicewood Springs, #100, Austin, TX 78759.
