Glennis Joan Cleveland was born on March 27, 1967 to the late Brenda J. Strait Thompson and Trudy Cleveland. She was the only child born to this union.
Glennis was educated in the Austin Independent School District and graduated from LBJ high school in 1986.
Glennis accepted Christ in her life at a young age. She loved going to church and listening to gospel music. She loved to listen to her cousin, up and coming recording artist, Chadney Christle Playing her music and singing her songs. She loved to sing and was a member of the singing group Tiffany and the Gospel Motion where she was a member for many years.
Glennis was living in Clovis, New Mexico when she met and married the love of her life Kevin Schrock in June 2001, with this union no children were born.
Glennis is preceded in death by her parents Brenda Joyce strait Thompson and Trudy Cleveland, husband Kevin Schrock, grandmother Pearlie Mae White, grandfather Roy Strait, aunt Laura Strait Jackson and uncle Leroy Williams.
Glennis leaves to cherish her memory her aunts Gloria A. Gray of Dallas, TX, Ernestine Thompson, and her favorite aunt Bernice Seamster, both of Austin, TX; uncles, Morris Thompson (Debra) of Austin, TX and Charles Jackson of Rosebud, TX; sister-in-law, Demetria Mackey (Edward) of Midland, TX; nieces, La Kendria Mackey Wolf and La Keeyah Mackey; nephews, Terrence Mackey, Todd Mackey, Au’mariyon Mackey all of Midland, TX; cousins, Bobbie King (Eric), Treva Gray, Charles Gray (Lena), Laura Jones, and Jocelyn Gray all of Dallas, TX. Charles Jackson, Jr. (Betty), Randy Jackson (Laura), Samantha Ford (John) of Lubbock, TX. Cynthia Hudson (Herman) of Temple, TX, Helen Jackson (Lee), Christopher Jackson (Norma) of Rosebud, TX and Chiquitta Jackson (Mike). She will be greatly missed by a host of relatives, cousins and friends.
She was loved by so many people who will miss her.

A funeral service will occur Saturday, April 30, 2022 at 11:00 AM, 6100 North Lamar Boulevard, Austin, Texas 78752. A graveside service will occur Saturday, April 30, 2022 at 1:30 PM at Austin Memorial Park Cemetery, 2800 Hancock Drive, Austin, Texas 78731.
