Gregoria Rendon

She was born in Brownsville, TX to the late Antonio and Petra Tobar.

She was married for over 50 years to the love of her life, the late Jose Ascension Rendon. She was a loving mother and leaves behind 7 children: Remigia Rendon Neely (Chris Neely), Frank Rendon, Luisa Rendon Platt (Keith Platt), Monica Rendon Jimenez (Carlos Jimenez), Gil Rendon (Jessica Rendon), Ida Rendon Casarez (David Casarez), Victoria Rendon Duden (Chris Duden), nephew, Ignacio Tobar (Maria Tobar) and Guera (her beloved mini poodle).

She also leaves behind many grandchildren: Joe Diaz, Daniel Diaz, Cristina Diaz, Tina Neely, Megan Wells Amanda Hatfield, JD Lambert, Levi Lambert, Luke Lambert, Lia Lambert, Lance Lambert, Logan Lambert, Leslie Lambert, Lauren Platt, Melinda Platt, Sara Munjack, Eric Munjack, Aaron Jimenez, Nathan Jimenez, Dominic Jimenez, Estevan Rendon, Ava Sellers, Olivia Rendon, Thomas Casarez, Anthony Casarez, Mark Casarez, Job Casarez, Luke Casarez, Jacob Duden, Allyson Duden, and great nephew, Ignacio Tobar, Jr., great nieces, Shiori Tobar, Allison Tobar, and 8 great grandchildren.

She was a loving mother who taught her children discipline, respect, hard work, how to love each other and to know and love Jesus.

She worked hard raising 7 children, preparing large meals for her family and maintaining her home. She was quite handy with a hammer, often making small repairs around the home, building chicken coops and cattle pens.

Above everything, our mother loved Jesus and was eager to spread the Word with everyone she met.

She will be forever in our hearts and greatly missed. We love you, Mom. Thank you!
