Tina spent her early and formative years in Klamath Fall, Oregon and Northern California, where she was an exceptional student throughout her school years.
Tina accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior and was a faithful parishioner of Holy Cross Catholic Church. She was President of Holy Cross Saint Vincent DePaul Society. Tina worked tirelessly helping individuals and families in need of financial aid, food, clothing, etc. Tina was also an active member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Knights of Peter Clever #284.
Tina worked her entire life, all while taking care of her family and preparing her children for their future. She retired from Texas Windstorm Insurance Association (TWIA) after serving as an Underwriter and Manager of Underwriters for 32 years. After retirement, she discovered her passion for nurturing her plants, gardening, fishing and playing with her dogs. She often said, “Those are the things that bring me peace and comfort at my age.”
Tina loved family. Every holiday you could find her in the kitchen cooking and entertaining the guests with talk and laughter. She was always excited when her children and grandchildren came to visit. Tina was truly blessed in every sense of the word.
Tina never met a stranger and will be missed by all. Tina’s cup was always “half-full.”
On February 4, 2023, the Good Lord said, “your work is done,” and called her home. All of her love, laughter, charm and humanity is left with each and every one of us as we continue her legacy.
Tina was preceded in death by her parents, Percy and Gussie Young; her brother, Bobby Young; and mother-in-law, Annie Ruth Frank.
She leave to cherish her memory, her husband, Tony Frank with whom she shared love, laughter and life for nearly 31 years; their children, Stacy Braggs-Williams (Andrey), Darin Scott (Sonya), Derwin Frank, and Mark Frank; sister, Mary Fletcher; brother, Percy Young; nephew, James Walker (Lisa); grandchildren, Christopher Scott-Darden, Lt. Cassidy Braggs, Cierra Braggs, Jhayden Dukes, Clynton Dukes, DeAndreya Williams, Mark Frank Jr., Tyease Streeter, Jahod Frank, Charris Parker, Kyle Parker, Derwin Frank Jr., Autumn Frank, Britney Coleman, and Jordan Coleman. She also leaves a host of sister and brother-in-laws, nieces, nephews, and a multitude of special friends she has affected in her 73 years of life.
Tina, you were a GREAT ONE and your presence here in our lives will certainly be missed, but, as you always say…”GOD IS GOOD!”
