

Gustavo Jorge Cordova Gruter passed away July 10, 2007 after a swift and hard-fought battle with cancer. Gustavo was a loving father, husband, and family member, as well as a generous friend. He lit up every room he entered and was loved and admired by everyone who knew him. Gustavo was born on August 31, 1975 in Managua, Nicaragua. He received his Bachelor of Finance Degree from Texas State University in San Marcos in 2000. Gustavo enjoyed his job as a Finance Manager at Maxwell Town North Nissan. In his spare time, he loved to play disc golf and was a member of the professional Disc Golf Association. Gustavo was also a huge supporter of the Dallas Cowboys football team, and was an advocate of natural science and health. He is survived by his wife, Shane Hainzinger Cordova; his six-month old son Gustavo Dietrich Cordova; his father, Gustavo Cordova Alvarez of Nicaragua; his mother, Jessie Fojanesi of Peru; his brothers and sister, Xochitl Cordova Lopez, Carmen Cordova Fasano, Antonio Cordova, Claudio Fojanesi, Andrea Fojanesi and Laura Fojanesi; his paternal grandparents Rafael Cordova Rivas and Maya Alvarez Chamorro de Cordova; his maternal grandmother Mercedes Gruter; and numerous other family members who will all miss him dearly.
