Gwendolyn Marie Holliday

Gwendolyn was 97 years old, and born on January 5th, 1916, in Burnet, Texas to Emsey and Nora Kirk. She married Paul Eugene Holliday and worked at Scarborough and Marie Antoinette.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, her father Emsey J. Kirk, her mother Nora Ann Kirk, her sister Vaughan Dean Kirk, his mother Nora Ann Kirk, her brother, Howard and E J Kirk and sister Gay Nell Akin.

She is survived by her daughter Nelda Britcher, granddaughter Debra Marie Britcher and grandson Robert Paul Britcher that were at her bedside.

She is also survived by her grandson Bill and wife Lynn, great grandson Drew Britcher and Christy and great grandson Adam Britcher and Joe. Her last wish was to tell them she loved them and a wish to hold her great great granddaughter Anna Beth.

She was a member of First Cumberland Presbyterian Church and had many dear friends that she loved. Funeral services will be conducted at two o’clock in the Afternoon on Tuesday, the 26th of February, in the Davis Chapel of Cook-Walden Funeral Home, 6100 North Lamar Boulevard, Austin, Texas. Interment will follow in Austin Memorial Park, Austin, Texas.

Active Pallbearers will be James Martin, Tony Burghart, Kevin Reeves, Donnie Wilhelm, Jimmy Sanford and Don Newman. Honarary pallbearers will be Glenn Smith, Frank Edilback and Duncan Graham.

God is blessed with a loving angel and we will miss her so.
