

Harold “Hal” Edward Morgan passed away on August 23, 2021 at his home in Jamestown, TN. He was born on June 19, 1954 in Oklahoma. The son of Edward and Wilma Morgan and brother to Christine, Lynnette, and Andrea. When Hal was a young child, his family moved to Humble, TX, where he grew up with a love for football, baseball, and the outdoors. He was a dedicated Houston Astros fan who never missed a game. He raised his family in Austin, TX where his happiest moments were spent with his daughter at their deer lease in Llano, TX. He loved hunting and fishing and developed a passion for horses later in life. After moving to Tennessee, he owned a Tennessee Walking Horse named Hot Shot for a short time. He spent his time on the front porch of his home surrounded by nature, the sounds of Fox News, and his never ending solitaire games.
Hal was proceeded in death by his parents and his son, Kyle Morgan. He is survived by his daughter, Ashley Braxton, his son-in-law, Larkin Braxton, and his two grandchildren, Kyla and Cassidy Braxton. He was a devoted father and Papaw.
A burial service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, September 11, at Forrest Oaks Memorial Park, 6300 W. William Cannon Dr, Austin, TX.
