Helen Francis Cox Helen Francis Cox, age 87, of Austin, passed away on Thursday, June 17, 2004. Helen was born on October 26, 1916, in Austin, Texas, to James H. Davis and Ida Koos Davis. She was a loving wife and mother and will be greatly missed by all of us. She was a long time resident of Austin and graduated from UT-Austin with a bachelors degree. Her great love of Chinese antiques led from a hobby to opening a shop which she operated for a number of years. Throughout her life Helen was a very generous woman, contributing to a number of charities and doing volunteer work at Good Shepherd Episcopal Church. Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin Lanier Cox, who passed away January 1, 2002. She is survived by her son, William Lee Cox and wife, Ann of Katy: grandchildren, David C. Cox and wife, Tse-ning of Austin, Catherine L. Radvansky and husband Bob of Katy, W. Gary Cox and wife, Adriana of Austin: and four great grandchildren.
