

She married Robert Noble Bevill in South Fulton, Tennessee July 2, 1937. She and Noble relocated to Austin in late 1937. They were happily married for 45 years until his passing in 1982.
Lou was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. Her family was very important to her and she loved sharing life events with them. She was a charter member of Park Hills Baptist Church and was a member of the Sewing Group at Western Trails Apartments. Lou was a stay-at-home mom, raising her son and daughter before joining the workforce. She was employed by Scarboroughs Department Stores as a Sales Associate until retirement.
She is survived by her daughter, Sallie (Jim) Daude of Lucile, Idaho; her son, Robert (Karen) Bevill of Austin; granddaughters, Sherri Cereghino of Riggins, Idaho and Kimberly (PJ) Henscheid of Spokane Valley, Washington; grandsons, Jeff (Meghan) Bevill and Chris (Chrissy) Bevill of Austin; great-grandsons, Brett Cereghino and Carter Henscheid; and great-granddaughters, Alisha and Ashley Cereghino; brother-in-law, George Bevill and wife, Jo of San Antonio; as well as other nephews and nieces.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at Cook Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held at 3:30 p.m., Thursday, September 5, 2013 in the Chapel of Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks with Dr. Ken Baldwin to officiate. Interment will follow at Cook Walden/Forest Oaks Memorial Park.
