

Hillery Margaret Maer Nash, age 77, of Austin, passed away on Sunday, June 29, 2003. She was born on August 17, 1925 in Fort Worth, Texas to Claude M. and Hillery Moseley Maer. Margaret graduated from Arlington Heights High School and The University of Texas where she was a member of Tri-Delta Sorority. She was a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church, the Jr. League of Austin, Settlement Home, Daughters of the Republic, NW Recreation Board, and Goodwill Industries Board where she served as president 1982-1984. Her parents; her husband, John H. Nash, Jr. and a son, Richard (Dick) L. Nash, preceded her in death. Survivors include her sons, John (Jack) H. Nash, III and his wife Janna of Austin and William (Bill) L. Nash and his wife Dusty Gilliam of Hunt, Texas; her brother, Claude M. Maer, Jr. and his wife Anne of Denver, Colorado; four grandchildren, John H. Nash, IV, Jennifer B. Nash, Jordan G. Nash and Jody Gilliam. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 2, 2003 at Covenant Presbyterian Church, 3003 Northland Dr. Margarets grandsons and nephews will honor her as pallbearers.
