I am so sorry to hear this, I have very fond memories working with him at Home Depot back in Austin. He was always so cheerful and warm and made long shifts enjoyable! He will be missed, my thoughts are with his family.

Hud and I were friends since we were about 16. We hung out,he ran lights for my band and later we were business partners in Strider pant Co.We went to see our beloved Cowboys win the 1978 Super Bowl and we watched the Az Diamondbacks win the 7th game of the World Series! Hud's passing makes you realize how fragile life is. So many good memories from those high school days. Partying in the baby blue Renault, I will never know how that car survived.  His unique sayings he created.  Fun times!  Rest in peace my friend! My condolences to his family.

Hudnel was one of a kind. A mellow soul with a wicked sense of humor. I enjoyed his friendship during high school and beyond. Heartfelt condolences to his daughters, Jackie and Julie.

We are so sorry to hear of Hudnel's passing. Although we had not seen him in many years he was someone we will always remember. My husband, Sam, lived across the street from Hudnel in Coronado Hills in El Paso. Hudnel, Sam and I were at Cornado High School together. Lots of memories. Our deepest sympathy goes to his family.
