

Ignacio “Nacho” Loredo, 83, of Austin, was called home to heaven on July 23, 2017. Born to Paula Sanchez Loredo and Eleuterio Loredo in Bastrop on May 7, 1934, Ignacio was known as “Nacho” or “Nash” to those who knew him. He graduated from Austin High School and went on to serve in the army. Soon after, he began his entrepreneurial career in real estate and truss business.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Eleuterio and Paula Loredo; Brothers Joe Loredo and Henry Loredo; Sister Natalia Beltran and husband Ramon, and infant siblings Elena, Reymundo and Jose; Son Ignacio Jr., and son-in-law Robert Guerra; Niece Staci Dawn Hernandez, and granddaughter Lindsey Loredo.
He is survived by his loving wife of 29 years Maria Elena Loredo, his children; Irene Guerra, Gilbert (Diana) Loredo, Loretta (Charles) Guluzian, Lorraine (Baudelio) Garza; stepson Hilario (Joana) Carranza, Lourdes Loredo, and Leticia Loredo. Brothers: Sonny (Judy) Loredo and Michael (Barbara) Loredo; sisters Mary Loredo and Annie (Juan) De Luna. Along with (10) grandchildren, (5) great-grandchildren, and countless nieces and nephews.

Visitation with the family will be on Thursday, July 27, 2017 from 5:00-8:00pm at Cook Walden Funeral Home, 6100 North Lamar Blvd, Austin, Texas 78752. Rosary will recite at 6:00pm.
Funeral service will be held at 10:00am on Friday, July 28, 2017 at Cristo Rey Catholic Church, 2208 E 2nd Street, Austin, Texas 78702.
