She was born in Crystal Springs, Mississippi to Houston and Irma Sanders, the seventh of eight daughters. She was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church since moving to Austin from McAllen, Texas. In McAllen she was active in Our Lady of Sorrows Mother's Club as well as the Altar Society. She was also very active with the Legion of Mary Society.
Mrs. Gross was preceded in death by her husband, Leo Gross; son, James Robinson; grandson, Greg Gross; grandson, Gerald Robinson; and seven sisters.
She is survived by her sons, Bill Gross and Robert Gross; grandsons, Marc Robinson, Andrew Robinson, Shane Gross, and Jeff Gross; granddaughters, Melissa Seaton and Amber Teague; and numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Services and entombment will be held at 10:00 AM on June 29th, 2021 at Assumption Cemetery Mausoleum in Austin.
