Isabel Moreno Teran, born August 29, 1925 in Brownsville, Texas went to be with the Lord on May 19, 2007. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lydia and Melchor Moreno; her husband of 50 years, Julio Teran; one sister; and four brothers. Isabel was a life member of the Cristo Rey Catholic Church Joy Group. She gave many years of service as a bilingual educator for the Austin Independent School District. Isabel is survived by her daughters and son-in-laws, Sylvia and Roel Saenz, Rosalinda Palacios and Louie Alvarez, Teresa and David Rodriguez, Virginia and Joseph Molis, Hilda Teran-Caballero and Jose Campos, Sandra and Chris Stone, Martha and James Cantu; fourteen grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren. Serving as pallbearers are her grandsons, Edward Palacios, Andres Rodriguez, Jaime Rodriguez, Adam Alvarez, David Saenz, Daniel Saenz, Julio Molis and Jacob Garcia. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held at 7:00 pm on Monday, May 21, 2007 at Wilke-Clay-Fish Funeral Home. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Tuesday, May 22, 2007 at Cristo Rey Catholic Church with Father Eugene Euresti officiating. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
