

After graduating, he served in the Navy during World War II on the USS Remey. In 1946, he was called back to duty on the USS Bayfield during the Korean Conflict.
After serving his country, he worked for GSA. He retired in 1991. He was active at Sacred Heart Catholic Church for 52 years. He served as Director of Government Employees Federal Credit Union.
He is preceded in death by his daughter Dr. Janice Glass Mouser and two brothers Howard and Billy.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Marian; two daughters: Dianne Glass and Brenda Adams (Mike); seven grandchildren: Jessica Keas (Jason) Jenny Morgan (Keith), Dr. Sarah Fry (Clint), Dr. Ben Mouser, Mary Flury (William), Shannon Kaltenbach (Shawn) and Nathaniel Adams; and seven great grandchildren.
Visitation and Rosary will be Monday, August 21, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. at Cook-Walden Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Austin, Texas.
