Jack Douglas McCowan, age 49, died Friday, August 4, 2006. Jackie, as he was known by his many friends and family, is survived by his father, Jack McCowan and stepmother, Doris; his half-sisters, Joann Piszker, Pamela Mitchell, and Janet Clendennen and their families. He is also survived by his aunts, Mary Margaret Wells and Jeannie Strange and their families. He was preceded in death by his mother, Laura Barcus McCowan. Jack was beloved by his family, his friends, and his coworkers and will be greatly missed. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, August 9th at 11:00 a.m. at Austin Memorial Park on Hancock Drive.
