Nancy and Family, I can't put into words how sad I am. I have lost my older brother. I have such great memories of growing up together. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.  Love you all

I had the pleasure of living next to Jack and Nancy for 16 yrs, until last year when I sold my house... Ohh the stories I  could share, we had fun as neighbors.

We shared MORE than just a fence, we shared love, we shared family, we shared FUN, we shared lots of beer... and most important we shared life and laughter!

Nancy would fondly call me "honey'..  " honey hows grandma doing, she would ask.."  Jack would say   " hey Hoe, when you gonna water your grass!"... only Jack could let you know how much he cared thru the unfiltered language that would make you LAUGH hysterically even when he was making fun of you  or giving you a hard time. Jack had a way of doing that, like no one else I knew.  Jack could make friends anywhere, from the bar stool at Cool River, to people at work, to the docks on Lake Travis...

Jack loved his family and his corn huskers more than anything, as proof he would either have his AMERICAN FLAG or his Huskers Flag hanging predominantly on the garage flag pole.

But more than all, Jack loved his Nancy, and his 4 legged babies!  Although I smile fondly and literally laugh out loud sitting her, thinking about Jack (riding a motorized cooler down our street - yes I said a motorized igloo beer cooler, to the time he was racing  down the road on  a moped) those are the funny times - humorous times.. But what I really loved was listening to Jack and Nancy in the backyard...  yup we could ease drop on each other!!

They would listen to my grandma outside- singing to the deer or talking to the dogs, in and out she would go... and I could hear Jack and Nancy on a saturday or sunday morning on the back porch, talking about family, plans for the week... the dogs!  They shared everything.  Jack and Nancy shared a lifetime together and a love for life, a zeal for FUN, a love for people that you dont often see or experience. I am so blessed that I shared more than just a Fence with them for 16 yrs and  in that - I also shared in their LOVE for each other and for life, I got to experience that sense of FAMILY, that sense of FUN. I got to be family with them, and I still AM and ALWAYS WILL BE HERE FOR YOU NANCY!

Thank you Jack ! ( and Nancy!) for all the memories, laughter, fun. love, joking, poking and genuine friendship!

PS:  Jack I know you always watched out for Grandma- listening for her in the yard, and now I know you are watching out for her still  in heaven! as that is where you both are at.. and PS: I know you both have a few beers together on the porch in Heaven watching over Nancy and all of us! We will meet again my friend, one day at heavens gate!

My memories with Jack were humorous, lots of fun, and always memorable. He was like a brother to me and he will truly be missed. I love Jack. Sorry Nancy. Wished I could be there for you. My prayers are with you in your time of loss. Jack loved you with all his heart and soul, as do we.

There will never be another Jack T. Adios Amigo.

I first met Jack at Austin Printing & Mailing. Although he had a gruff exterior at times, he was a kind ,humorous, and sincere individual. He is one of the special guys in the printing industry. He will be missed.

Jack was a wonderful next door neighbor.  He always had a kind word for me and a humorous observation to share.  I always felt safe with him next door and will miss him.
