Jacob Gregory Gray passed away on March 31st 2022 at the age of 42. He was an amazing husband, devoted father, son, and friend to all he met. Jake was born to be outdoors. The outdoors inspired him. He loved mountaineering and trying each time to climb a higher mountain. He loved the challenge of rock climbing. If there was a challenge, he would not give up until he figured it out and then taught the rest how to do it! Jake loved to go on hikes, fish, play in the ocean, camp, hunt, and ride his bike. If it was outdoors, he was up for any adventure.
He was a very devoted father to his children, Connor, Hunter, Anthony, Michael, and Bailey. He would go to every game and competition they had; being one of the loudest to cheer them on! He would take them on many different adventures. We never knew what he had in store for us on the weekend.
Jake Joined the Navy in 1999 and served for 5 years. During this time, he challenged himself to be the best. He was awarded several medals and letters of recognition for all his hard work and achievements. He served his country with honor and pride.
After leaving the Navy Jake would make a career out of firearms. In true Jake fashion he worked hard and moved up to be the firearms manager of EzCorp.
He is survived by his wife Carrie Bailey, his children Connor, Hunter, Anthony, Michael, and Bailey; his father Gregory Gray, his mother Kaye Fielding, and his brother Nick Haffie.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.cookwaldenchapelofthehills.com for the Gray family.
