We met Jim and Judy shortly after Ted joined IBM. Much in common - U of Michigan grads, parents of a toddler, love of music, and computers and do it yourself projects.
Godparents of our daughter. We went to the beach together several times.
We used to love Jim's stories about U of M shenanigans.
We kept in touch after they moved to Austin.

Jim and Judy were great friends of ours while we all lived in Maryland and especially Florida at the same time. Ernie worked for IBM as well. Jim and Judy lived in a one bedroom apartment in Ft. Walton Beach with the bedroom on the second floor where Martha slept. They slept on the sleep sofa in the living room downstairs. One night during the Christmas season, the Christmas tree fell onto their bed. After that they tied it up to the curtain rod behind the tree. We spent many hours playing games together and having fun. Jim and Judy were God parents to our son Greg. We will miss him and always remember him fondly.
