James Arthur Parlin

He was born in Austin, Texas on August 2, 1967 to Richard and Mary Parlin. James attended McCallum High School. He married Sarah F. Parlin on February 27, 1993. They were married for 23 years.

James worked at Parlin Painting, which he opened in 2011. He was a member of Northwest Baptist where he became a deacon on April 28, 2013. He had a passion for bowling and working on cars. He was a kind hearted person and he was known for putting others before himself.

He is preceded in death by his father Richard Joseph Parlin Sr., his sister Kay Parlin, his brother Tommy Parlin, and daughter Stephanie Parlin.

He was survived by his wife Sarah Parlin, his mother Mary Parlin; his daughters: Erica and her husband Guy Clenden, Jennifer and her husband Lionel Castaneda, Jamie Parlin, Joanna Parlin; his son James Parlin Jr., his brothers: Richard, Charlie, Tim and Kevin Parlin; his sisters: Edie Parlin, Ruth Moon, Margaret Despain, and Dorothy Aguilar and many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

He will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
