

Jim was the beloved husband of Mary Lou Rink for 42 years, a dedicated father to his son, Jett Wilson Rink, and a devoted grandfather to his grandchildren, Skye and Slate Rink. He is also survived by his sister, Cynthia Rink.
Jim was also known for his sense of humor, always keeping those around him on their toes with his quick wit and knack for making people laugh. His sense of humor was a cherished part of his personality, and he had an uncanny ability to entertain, no matter the situation.
A proud 1975 graduate of Texas Tech University, Jim was an active member of the Sigma Chi fraternity and carried the values of brotherhood and leadership throughout his life. In addition, Jim was a devoted Member and Officer of Austin Lodge 12, AF&AM Masonic Fraternity, demonstrating his commitment to service and charity.
A real estate appraiser, broker, and arbitrator by profession, Jim spent many years working in the industry, navigating both its challenges and rewards. He was known for his creative thinking and determination, traits that helped him become successful in his field.
Jim's legacy is one of strength and perseverance. Throughout his life, he faced hardships but always found a way to move forward. His family will remember him for his dedication to them and his colorful personality.
Jim will be missed by all who knew him, and his memory will live on through his family and the many lives he touched.
