Pat served in the US Army Air Corp as an Aviation Cadet during WWII and then attended SMU, graduating in 1949 with a Bachelor's degree in Business. He retired from sales at Southwestern Bell but remained a consummate salesman until his last day.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his beloved wife, Anita Ferguson Steele.
Survivors include his son Michael Steele and wife Melissa of El Paso, sons Timothy Steele of Houston and Sean Steele of Austin, and daughter Kerry Harris and husband Brit of Houston. He is also survived by grandchildren, Patrick Groom, Trevor and Walker Harris, Justin Steele, Charissa Liner Reeves, and Corey Liner.
Recitation of the Rosary will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 24, 2012 at Emmaus Catholic Church, 1718 Lohman's Crossing in Lakeway followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m.
