
Jane Coplin Randolph Our beloved mother passed away December 21, 2004, after living a very full and active life. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed. She was born to George and Pearl Coplin in Handley, Texas. She grew up in Tarrant County, Texas where she met her husband, Randy Randolph. They were married in 1937. During World War II, Randy served in the Civil Air Patrol which took them around the state until 1945 when they came to Austin. In 1946, they opened Randys Circle R Barbecue at 5th and Neches which became a landmark restaurant until its closing in 1966. After that the two were in semi-retirement, until 1980 when they purchased a water utility in Comal County. Jane operated that business until the very end. Jane is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Randy, and son, Robert. She is survived by her daughter, Peggy Schulze and husband Mel of Pleasanton; daughter, Ann Denbow and husband Butch of Austin; and daughter, Randy Randolph of Leander. She also has five grandsons, Randy Schulze, Mike Schulze, Mark Schulze, Matt Schulze and David Denbow and four great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 24th at Austin Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the First Baptist Church Building Fund in Austin.
