Janina Gonzalez of Austin, TX passed away May 15, 2021 of natural cause. She was born November 16, 1964 in San Antonio, TX but grew up in Austin, TX. She is survived by her child BJ Gonzalez of Haverhill, MA, her father Roger Gonzalez of Pensacola, FL, her brother James P Gonzalez of Kyle, TX and by several aunts, uncle, and cousins. Janina was preceded in death by her mother Juanita Gonzalez, brothers Roger Gonzalez, William P Gonzalez, and many cats over the years. Janina was big in the Austin music and performance art scene. She was also known as Janine de Luna-Azul and as The Fairy Rock Mother of The Band in My Bedroom Tonight.
A private remembrance was held by family and close friends. She was cremated and her remains were taken to MA by her child, BJ.
