My working week and my Sunday rest,
My noon, my midnight, my talk, my song;
I thought that love would last for ever: I was wrong.
Jeanne Louise Malkani ended her extraordinary journey through life peacefully, with her loving family by her side holding her hands on Wednesday, December 12, 2012.
She was born January 8, 1954 in New Jersey to Patricia and Edwin Nolan. She grew up on the Jersey shore and had a lifelong love of and passion for the ocean. After graduating from Drew University with a major in English, she went on to achieve a degree in law from South Texas School of Law. She practiced law the rest of her life with great enthusiasm and enormous success.
She leaves a void that will never close in the hearts of her loving and devoted husband of 28 years, Harish Malkani; daughters, Lauren Malkani and Shirin Malkani; son, Patrick Malkani; grandson, Elliott Radin; sisters, Patricia Tweeddale and Kathleen Durik; brother Robert Nolan; nephews Richard Durik and Vinay Malkani; and nieces, Kathryn Grayson and Serena Malkani.
Jeanne was compassionate, generous to a fault, a fierce protector of her family, her friends and her ideals. She had courage and inner strength – a noble human being who performed small acts of generosity unknown to all but the recipient. Jeanne was the laughter and sunlight in the lives of all who knew her. With her passing so goes the sunlight in our lives.
here is the deepest secret nobody knows
(here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud
and the sky of the sky of a tree called life;which grows
higher than soul can hope or mind can hide)
and this is the wonder that's keeping the stars apart
i carry your heart with me(i carry it in my heart)
