Jeffery Raymond Gleason

He is survived by his mother and step-father, Gwen and Ron Fiebelkorn of Austin, Texas; sister Andrea Fiebelkorn of Kyle, Texas; and his father, Raymond Gleason of Channahon, Illinois. Jeff is also survived by several Aunts and Uncles including: Rosalind Flowers of Sun City Center, Florida; Sandy and (David) Vallera of Joliet, Illinois; Julie and (Marty) Kruszka of Elwood, Illinois; Mike and (Jennifer) Hammer of Austin; Darryl and (Paula) Hammer of Salamanca, New York

Jeff lived in Joliet, Illinois with his family from the time of his birth until 1979. In 1979 his family moved to Vienna, Virginia and in 1981 he and his family moved to Austin, Texas. He attended Bedicheck Middle School and Crockett High School and moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota in 1995. At the time of his death Jeff was employed by the Fraser Group Home, a company he enjoyed working for.

Jeff had a good heart and soul and lived an uncomplicated life. He had a passion for music and caring for others. Jeff was known for his wit and sense of humor, one of the things that will be missed most by his friends and family.

A memorial celebration will be held on 11:00 A.M, Sunday, April 17, 2011 in the Nature Garden at Cook-Walden/Funeral Home. Friends and family are invited to attend and bring memories, photographs, and stories to share.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations in Jeff’s name be made to the Salvation Army’s Homeless Shelter, P. O. Box 1000, Austin, Texas 78767 or to the charity of your choice.
