Jeffrey Charles Haines passed peacefully, after a long illness, at his home in Austin, Texas on Wednesday, April 17, 2013, he was 61. He was born to and predeceased by Fred and Eleanor (Dempsey) Haines and raised in New Jersey.
Jeff was a graduate from Fairleigh Dickinson University and received his Masters of Science from Texas Tech. Jeff recently retired from a productive career in the semiconductor industry where he worked for over 25 years, for such companies as Texas Instruments, Intel, National Semiconductor and AMD.
A beloved son, brother and father, Jeff is survived by his son Brandon of Austin, sisters Karen Haines, Kathy Haines Cirz(Ted), Jill Dorman Perosi (Joseph) and brother George Dorman (Kay). He will be missed by his nephew Michael Cirz and nieces Kara Cirz, Kimberly and Tegan Dorman, Ellyana Perosi, and many friends and extended family including DorothyJane and Herbert Schwartz.
Jeffrey touched the lives of everyone he knew and maintained his trademark wry sense of humor throughout his life. Some of his favorite things were the Jersey Shore, golfing, playing bridge and sharing Thanksgiving with his family in Phoenix, Arizona.
The family will hold a private service.
