

Jerry Wolverton, born on February 4th 1963 in Forth Worth, Texas died unexpectedly Saturday December 11th 2010 in Austin, Texas where he spent his entire life. He fought long and hard to continue this journey with us, but God called to be with him now where he is walking with his loving parents, Charles and Shirley Wolverton, and looking down on us.
He was survived by his loving wife, Nelli Wolverton; and loving daughters, Nikita and Tiffany Grezlik; his only granddaughter, Liliana Martinez; his sisters, Debby Wolverton of Austin, Barby Roberts, Missy Dunning, and Janey Wolverton of Lampasas, Texas; as well as several nieces and nephews and numerous loved Godchildren.
Jerry, an active member of San Jose Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus Council #10148 and the Bishop Reicher Assembly #1099. He spent his Sundays teaching Religious Education to first graders at the church for the past 15 years. He loved spending his time volunteering at other church events as well.
He enjoyed spending his time at home with family and watching sports, where he was a devoted Dallas Cowboys fan and an avid Texas Longhorns supporter.
Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held at 7:00 pm on Tuesday December 14th 2010 at the San Jose Church. Mass of the Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Wednesday December 15th 2010 at San Jose Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be David Cates, Jr., Clayton Arredondo, Michael Steeple, Bradly Tiley, Nicholas Castro, and Derek Acosta.
