

Jarrell Lee (Pat) Paschall, 87, of Austin passed away on Friday, May 6, 2011. He was born August 5, 1923 in Mabank, Texas to Homer and Anna Key Paschall. He was a proud Army veteran of WWII who saw combat in the Philippines. After his service, he married Ruth G. Hubbard on November 12, 1946. They had four daughters and were married 55 years before Ruth passed away in 2002. He also was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and three sisters. He is survived by his wife of six years, Betty McKown Paschall, his daughters, Sandra Chism, Diane McCoy, Vicki Wheless and Lisa Fain, their husbands, and Betty’s children; Lynn Morozink, Dr. Becky McKown, and O.B. (Trey) McKown and their spouses. He was Dedad to seven beautiful grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He was Pat to two stepdaughters, one stepson, and five step grandchildren. He was Pattycakes to one stepdaughter, and he was Po-Po Pat to one step grandson. He was a Deacon at Crestview Baptist Church where he was a member for 58 years and taught the 67 to Heaven men’s class for 55 years. For numerous years he worked for Pure Milk Company and Gulf Toy Company; but is best remembered as owner of Pat’s of Austin Lawnmower Service on North Lamar. Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from six o’clock in the evening until eight o’clock in the evening on Monday, the 9th of May at Cook Walden Funeral Home, 6100 North Lamar Boulevard, Austin. A funeral service will be conducted at ten o’clock in the morning on Tuesday, the 10th of May at Cook Walden Funeral Home with Dr. Jeff Cramer, Dr. Bruce Murray, and Arch Bishop Cleveland (James) Alexander officiating. Interment will follow at Cook Walden Capital Parks Cemetery, 14501 North IH 35, Pflugerville, Texas.
