Jo Nelson Harper

Jo was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Joe Harper; all of her siblings; James D. Nelson, Clifford A. Nelson, Johnnie M. Washington and Shirley Walston; and nephews, Jamie Nelson, Timmy Nelson and John Nelson.

She is survived by her many nieces and nephews and their loving families, all of whom Jo adored.

After the death of her beloved husband, Jo moved in with her sister, Shirley and her husband, Joe Mac, where she lived until her death.

Jo had a beautiful spirit. We never heard her talk bad about anyone. She was totally in love with her Heavenly Father. She was a member of Great Hills Baptist Church and sang in the choir there.

Jo will be missed by all who knew and loved her, but we find comfort in knowing she will be with her loved ones who went before her. Our comfort is multiplied in knowing she is singing with the Angels and she is pain free.

Graveside services will be held Friday, May 20, 2016 at 2:00 o'clock at Austin Memorial Park Cemetery on Hancock Drive.
