Joan lived in Austin, Texas for 47 years. She worked for Southwestern Bell (AT&T) and Capitol Network until her retirement. Joan loved spending time with her family and friends. Joan owned an African Gray Parrot, whom she named Chrissie after her mother. She enjoyed talking with Chrissie and the company the bird provided.
Joan is survived by her 3 sons Robert and wife Kathy, William and wife Mary, Brian and wife Margaret; her daughter, Sandra Anderson and her 5 grandchildren, Robert, Mitchell, Elizabeth, Ryan, and Gray, and many other family and friends.
