JoAnn Johnson

She was born on September 3, 1934 in rural Norfolk NE daughter of Ralph and Irene Klug. She was married for 50 years to Norman B. (Gabby) Johnson. She worked at Dale Electronics for 25 years where she retired and moved with her husband to Cedar Park to be closer to family. She was an active member of the Ladies Auxiliary VFW 1644.

Gardening, cooking, and cheering on the Huskers were some of her favorite things to do. She loved to be with family especially during birthdays and holidays.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Jeanette Retzlaff, husband, and son Mitch.

She is survived by her daughter Rhonda (Johnson) Smith and son- in- law Jerry. Grandchildren are Zac, Troy, Tara, Melly, Layton and Morgan. Great-grandchildren Marques and Ellody. Other survivors include sisters Lois Retzlaff and Diane Kahler and several nieces and nephews.
