Jody Ray Laird

He graduated from Brookville Area High School in 1980 and continued his education at American InterContinental University, accomplishing a degree in Associate of Arts in Business Administration with Honors in May 2010.

He had a successful journey as a business owner for 20 years, along with being highly active as well as involved with his family, fishing, watching football, and being a craftsman.

He is preceded in death by Michaela Sheetz, his eldest sister.

Jody is survived by his wife, Sonia, and his children David, Jessica, Javier, and Jena. His mother, Ida Barrett, and his siblings Bob, Shaun, Blaine, and Launi. As well as his very loved grandchildren and great-grandbabies.

He loved to sing and reword lyrics to suit his humor. He will be dearly missed for his witty comments, sense of humor, but mostly for being a wonderful family man, close friend, and friend of their friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at Forest Ridge Calvary Chapel, 1535 Red Bud Ln, Round Rock, TX 78664, US, on April 18, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm.
