I had the honor of meeting "Joe Cool" at House of Friends. I was amazed by his willingness to try anything even on days when he wasn't up to snuff. Our first interaction didn't go so well. I walked over during our music time and asked him to dance....and he stated simply, "Thank you, but I only dance with my wife." With all he had going on physically and mentally, his love for Lora Lee was steadfast. And NOW I know whay. Lora Lee is the definition of true love and true character. Her courage and go-get-em attitude had been a source of strenghth for all of us at House of Friends.  Their example of what FOREVER looks and feels like, will live in our hearts always.

I always remember working with you, and the many lunches we had together, I went to Sam Costello's funeral yeserday, and am so sad to hear your gone too. Your one of the people I ever got to know, only wish I was Like you. God Bless you and your family.

I'll always remember the first time I met Joe and LoreLee at the House of Friends. I could see the LOVE they had for each other, the wonderful smiles on their faces and the twinkle in their eyes. Whenever I saw them at Bethany for Church service on Sunday, I always got a hug from the two of them and Joe always ask "how are you". 
I will miss seeing you Joe at House of Friends and Church.
I am so sorry for your loss LoreLee. Please remember that God is with you to help you though these difficult times.

My prayers are with you Aunt Lore Lee.  I cherish my memories of Uncle Joe and his love for you and precious.  I am comforted that he is again healthy in Heaven and at peace with our Heavenly Father. "Now let your unfailing love comfort me, just as you promised me.."Psalm 119 (76)

While at the brewery, Joe took me under his wing and provided knowledge, wisdom, and opportunity.  It was an honor to work with Joe during his tenor at the Anheuser-Busch brewery.  I'm sure the Lord has some construction project and is pleased that Joe is there to help.  May God bless all of Joe's family and friends during this time of sorrow.

We will miss Joe at the GMC Classics Motorhome club rallies.  He was always so cheerful in spite of his difficulties.  May he now rest in eternal peace.

Joe and Laura Lee were caring neighbors and good friends who were always there when needed. Their happy smiles and loving ways warmed our hearts. Laura Lee was the best wife and friend Joe could have had. We cherish our friendship and will always remember Joe. Our hearts are saddened by Joe's death.

Canyon Lake "family"

Some of our best times were riding those Harley's with you two...............we had some amazing trips and now have such wonderful memories.......... and we have the pictures to prove it.  Joe will be missed by all of us who loved him and were fortunate enough to have known him.  He was a special man, a tender soul, a gentle giant.  We are so sorry for your loss Lore Lee.

I will always remember Joe  and the love he showed to anyone he met. He always had a gently smile on his face and I know he is now in a better place where he will not have pain and or issues he has had for the past 8 years.
I would also like to express the kindness that Lora Lee has always shown to him, even while he was so sick and she would never leave his side.
What an awesome couple to have crossed my path as the Realor that sold their home in Canyon Lake.. I am truly blessed !
