On the 22nd day of September 2011, our beloved Joe C. Montoya was called to heaven at the age of 62. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather who's strong faith in the Lord was seen by many.
He was preceded in death by his son, Joe Daniel Montoya. Survivors are his wife, Cecilia Montoya; brothers, Tony and Jesse; sisters, Susie and Mary; sons, David Montoya and wife Melissa and Joe Charro and wife Pam; daughters Melissa Nava and husband Jesse; and Paula Montoya and husband John; grandchildren, Celia, Lisa and husband Jason, Brittney, Marie, Nicholas, Stephen, Matthew, Zackery, Matthew, Jason, and Sarah; and great-grandchildren, Daniel, Amari, and Cristaan.
He was an inspirational man and will be forever missed. We love you "Popo".
Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 25th at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, September 26, 2011 in the Weed-Corley-Fish Chapel. Interment will follow at Capital Memorial Park.
