Joe is survived by his wife of 40 years, Martha Zavala; children, Carlos Rodrigo Zavala, Mauricio R. Zavala, Martha Imelda Buehler, Joe Lozano Zavala, Jr., Sylvia Acuna, Lydia Garza; grandchildren, Joaly L. Zavala, Joe L. Zavala III, Jesse Lazar Zavala, Ashlei M. Zavala, Paloma Magdalena Buehler.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm on Friday, April 15, 2011 at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 2620 South Congress, with Recitation of the Holy Rosary to follow at 7:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12:30 pm on Saturday, April 16, 2011 at San Jose Catholic Church with Father Tom Frank officiating. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
