
Mrs. England, As a fellow "Township" kid from Chatham and part of the Class of '55, it was my great fortune to have known John for the better part of 65 years. My sincere condolences to your entire family at this time of loss,  I work with Christina at EFP and have been and will continue to pray for the peace and comfort of your family while I rejoice at John's home-going,  That knowledge has been of great comfort to me in the recent losses of my grandmother, my brother John and an Uncle, also named John. I worked with Sarge for quite a while at UCSO. He was gruff and rough on the outside but a big teddy bear on the inside who would give you the shirt off his back.    My Thoughts and Prayers are with you,  God Bless    Ryan Williams



Dear Mrs. England, Joyce, Ed, Sherry, and Christina -     What a wonderful man we were all so lucky to have as a part of our lives.  I remember living part of my young live at your house and how much fun we all had.  Your Dad was Dad to all of us and we will never forget him.    My love goes out to each of you.



I will keep you in my prayers. I worked with John years ago at UCSO and have a lot of respect for him.



Shirley, my heart aches for your loss (and for the adult children and grandchildren).  I dug up some memories from many years ago when Peggy informed me of Johnny's homegoing - old, old days at Capitol Rollarena - Johnny patrolling the floor, coaching hockey, we were young and our children were tiny.  I have a picture somewhere of Eddie carrying an oversized hockey stick, and my little Johnny (now 46)nearby with his.  Lots of good memories, but so few compared to what you and your family have of your John.  I'll continue to lift you up in my prayers; one day soon we'll be having a reunion in Heaven.  You are loved even though the years have separated our physical contact as friends.  Pearli



My sincere condolensces over the loss of your husband and father.  John was not only a great man in his own right, but a great patriot having served his state and country as a Texas Army National Guardsman. I had the great honor of working with 1SG England when I was the Budget Officer and Comptroller for the United States Property and Fiscal Office of Texas. I worked with John at Loomis years ago. I just loved him, he made quite an impact on my life. My prayers are with you during this time. I am sorry to hear he was battling an illness.



John was a good man and an invaluable asset to the veterans organizations in Dripping Springs.  He will be sorely missed.
