He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Gregorio and Trindad Fabian; his maternal grandparents, Milton and Carolina Torres.
John Paul is survived by his son, John Paul Fabian Jr., his parents, Pedro Fabian Sr. and Gloria Fabian; his two brothers, Pedro Fabian Jr. (Mary), Moses Fabian (Janie); his sister, Monica Nichole Arispe (Michael); eight nephews; and four nieces.
John Paul worked for the City of Austin Solid Waste Services for 17 years and enjoyed it. He was a free spirited person, he loved to walk downtown see all the different people. Several people would see him walking down Congress, would stop and ask him if he wanted a ride, his answer would always be No, I just want to walk. He liked the Dallas Cowboys, he loved his sweets, and he had a secret stash and his drink of choice, Dr. Pepper. He absolutely loved spending time with his son and his nephews, Pete, Jacob and Stephen they have many great memories and stories of him, they will forever hold in their heart. He will be greatly missed just to hear his little laugh he had for such a big man.
Visitation 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm on Friday, March 15, 2019 at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 2620 South Congress with Recitation of the Holy Rosary to begin at 7:00 pm.
