John G. Garner, age 81 of Austin passed away on Wednesdsay, October 21, 2009. He was born on February 20, 1928 to John and Mary Garner. He is survived by his wife, Frances Garner; sons, Leyon Garner, Bryan Garner; daughter, Rebecca Hefner; grandchildren, Jacob Hefner, Marlena Hefner, Marissa Garner; sisters, Lova Kinser, Audry Miller, Ann Pascal, Lorene Nelson; brother, James Garner. Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm on Friday, October 23, 2009 at Weed-Corley-Fish, 2620 South Congress. Graveside service 3:00 pm on Sunday, October 25, 2009 with Monsignor Fred Bomar officiating at Capital Memorial Park, Pflugerville, Texas.
