Hello Ellen and Anita, 
I am so sad to get the bad news about John. I remember him perfectly when he welcomed me at Dallas with your mother( almost40 years!) and also when he visited me at Vernon-Giverny. 
I have in mind the souvenir of an always smiling and friendly man.
He was a very nice people.
I keep this picture in mind and think a lot to you. Please accept «  mes plus sincères condoléances » from France and Normandie.
