Please keep my grandmother Dorothy Olson in your thoughts and prayers for she is missing the love of her life for their hearts beat as one and today is the first time in over 60 years she will not be able to see him or kiss him or hold his hand she needs all the love and prayers she can get to get through this time. Fondly known as Grandaddy by his grandchildren, John was always known to greet them with a hug and smile and leave them with the words, "Okay honey be careful, I love you".
He was the warmest mix of strength and tenderness, offering support in any situation.
I doubt going forward, anyone who knew him will not see a baseball game, bowling league, smell the sizzle of bacon in the kitchen or see a pair of big hands and not think of "Grandaddy".

The world has lost a true angel. Uncle John was always there, willing to help anyone. He had a big heart for all of the family. He will be missed.
