John Graham Snyder, age 53, of Austin passed away on Sunday, October 29, 2006. He was born in Brownwood, Texas on March 30, 1953 to Ned and Beverly Gramann Snyder, where he attended St. Marys Catholic Church. His parents preceded him in death. Graham graduated from Brownwood High School, attended the University of Colorado and was a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin. An award winning journalist, Graham had a column in the Fort Worth Star Telegram as an entertainment writer. He later worked as a freelance writer from home in order to perform his most important job, raising his son Matthew. His hobbies included fishing, hunting and golf. He is survived by his wife, Kathy; his son, Matthew; brothers, Ned Snyder III and David Snyder; sisters, Molly Williams and Marian Pirkle; an aunt, Marie Gramann and twelve nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 1, 2006 at Emmaus Catholic Church, 1718 Lohmans Crossing, Lakeway, TX 78734. Burial will be in Brownwood, Texas.
