Jose Angel Garcia

Angel was born October 17th, 1996, in Kingsville, TX and later moved to the Austin area, where he resided the rest of his life.

He is survived by his son, Johnathan Dao of Austin, TX, mother, Dominika Sosa of Austin, TX, father, Jose Rene Garcia, stepmother Juanita Garcia, and brothers David, Michael and Pedro Garcia of Kingsville, TX, Christian Sosa of Robstown, TX, sister Leticia Trejo of Kingsville, TX and sister Reyna Ramirez of Robstown, TX; and many extended family and friends who will forever cherish his memory.

Angel was a devoted father who found his greatest joy in caring for his son, whether that was working, teaching, or finding every opportunity he could to provide and build a great foundation for him. He loved music, movies, cooking, dancing, the mountains and spending time with family and friends. Angel was known for his unconditional love, unwavering kindness, intelligence, joyfulness, passion for cooking, and most of all his sense of humor. Angel could bring warmth and laughter to any room and touched so many lives just by being authentic to himself.

On Saturday, October 18th, 2025, we celebrate the life of Angel at Weed Corley Fish Funeral Homes and Cremation Services from 10:00am to 12:00pm.

A Committal service will follow at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home & Cemetery, located at 14501 N Interstate Hwy 35, Pflugerville, TX 78660, on the same day from 1:00 pm.
