Jose is preceded in death by his wife, Maria G. Muñiz, their son Francisco Muñiz, and great grand- daughter Courtney A. Marquez. Jose is survived by children, Maria Muñiz, Francis Garcia (Othon), daughter-in-law Janie Muñiz, Juanita Chavira (Roberto), Yolanda Muñiz, Lidia Marquez (Vincent), Elida Gonzales (Arthur), Maria J. Vasquez (Hank), Irene Camacho (Gonzalo), Jose L. Muñiz (Gina), Alladira Arteaga (Tomas), Diana Muñiz-Limmer (Chris); 33 grand-children; 49 great grand-children and 3 great, great, grand- children.
Visitation will be Friday, August 10th from 3:00 - 9:00 pm at Angel Funeral Home, (prayer service will be held at 7:00 pm). The funeral home is located at 1606 South 1st street in Austin. Funeral service will be at 12:30 pm Saturday, August, 11, 2012 at Angel Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Cook-Walden Forest Oaks Cemetery.
