Jose A. Pardo, 69, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Tuesday, May 28, 2013. He was a huge fan of the Dallas Cowboys, western movies, reading the newspaper and completing the crossword puzzles everyday, and loved to watch every major boxing fight.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Irene Ornelas; brothers, Cruz and Amado Pardo.
Jose is survived by his mother, Juanita Pardo; father, Cruz Pardo Sr.; wife, Mary Sue Cantu; stepsons, Jesse Cantu, Paul A. Rodriguez Sr.; grandchildren, Angel and Paul A. Rodriguez Jr.; brothers, Jesse and John; sisters, Jovita, Lupe, Dolores, Judy and Peggy. He leaves behind many nieces and nephews who loved him very much.
The family wishes to thank Bobby and Jovita Patino and Gilbert Pardo for their love and care to Jose.
Visitation for family and friends 5:00 pm on Sunday, June 2, 2013 at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 2620 South Congress Avenue with Recitation of the Holy Rosary to begin at 7:00 pm. A Graveside Service will be held at 12:00 pm on Monday, June 3, 2013 at Assumption Cemetery.
