Jose Gustavo Rodriguez

Jose Gustavo Rodriguez, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on July 14, 2024, in Austin, TX, at age 60.

He was born on May 25, 1964, to Rosa Maria Rodriguez and Jose Maria Rodriguez.

Jose's life was a testament to his unwavering faith and deep love for Jesus. He found great joy in sharing the love of Christ with others and was a devoted member of Rivers of Living Water Fellowship.

Professionally, Jose dedicated many years to the field of transportation, leaving a lasting impact on those he worked alongside. His commitment and hard work were admired by all who knew him.

Known for his deep love for his family, Jose leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion. He was especially adored by his grandchildren.

Throughout his life, Jose remained a devoted Christian, finding strength and solace in his faith. His kindness, compassion, and unwavering love for others will forever be remembered.

Jose is survived by his wife, Dalia Z. Rodriguez (Rodriguez); his daughter Jessica Molina; his daughter Jazmin Martinez; his son-in-law Jacob Martinez; and his son Alejandro Zamora; his mother Rosa Maria Rodriguez and his mother-in-law Alma Castillo; his sister Selina Morones, his sister Noelia Villareal, his sister Rosa Maria Briceno, his brother-in-law Carlos Briceno, his brother Javier Rodriguez, his sister-in-law Linda Rodriguez, his brother Sergio Rodriguez, his brother Joe Rodriguez, his sister-in-law Jo Ann Rodriguez, his brother-in-law Ray Berron, his brother-in-law Joe Castillo, his sister-in-law Rita Castillo, his brother-in-law David Castillo and his sister-in-law Lisa Castillo. Mr. Rodriguez also leaves 11 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews to cherish his memory.

Jose was preceded in death by his father Jose Maria Rodriguez and his father-in-law Jose Castillo; his sister Veronica Berron, and his son-in-law Juan Molina.

Jose Gustavo Rodriguez will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.

A funeral service for Jose will be held Friday, July 26, 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, 2620 South Congress Avenue, Austin, TX 78704. Following the funeral service will be a visitation from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM.
