Josefina was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Madrile R. Wilson. She is survived by her three children, Madrile R. Wilson, Jr., Idella D. Wilson, Charley Wilson: her step-daughter Mickey Masarik and her four children, Rodney Engelholm, Elizabeth Rodarte, Paul Engelholm, and Jason Masarik.
Josefina graduated from La Central High School in Santurce, Puerto Rico and attended the University of Puerto Rico.
She worked for over 30 years as a secretary, ranging from positions with the U.S. Army, Chief Medical Services in San Juan during World War II to the Austin Independent School District in the 1980’s.
Josefina will be remembered for her love of her family and dancing, and the joie de vivre with which she lived her life.
