I met Joe when he was assigned as an Army Advisor to the National Guard at Camp Mabry in the early '80's. He was a very gentle person and liked to talk about his family. I remember his wry smile and sense of humor. I am sorry for your loss. Annie Meehan

Thank you DAD for serving our country and serving your family and friends well. You will be missed dearly. I know you are in a better place and you are with mom. I thank God for all you have done for me. Encouragement,Love and guidance. Words really cannot convey how much respect and love I have for you. I shall always cherish my memories of you. To my extended family I love you as well. Be blessed and know God loves you and so did DAD. Let us keep his memory alive by emulating his character.

To the family of SGM Joe Aucoin, I am very sorry for your loss and it was my honor and privilege to serve with Joe as part of the Texas ARNG Logistics staff.
Joe and I worked together on audits as well as just chewing the fat and he will be greatly missed as much as fondly remembered always!
Joe always had a good story to tell or would make sure he stopped on the road to get his winning scratch off lottery tickets, he had the best luck!
God Bless you all and Joe.

I worked with Joe under the Directorate of Maintenance. I personally enjoyed talking with Joe and discussing politics and other issues that concerned us. Joe was one of a kind and always brought a smile to my face. Joe was a true professional and always completed the mission with exceptional results. I will always remember Joe's laugh and warm smile. God Bless.
